"If you do not turn inward, you will never know reality".

Ajahn Chah

Each of us has the ability to live a rich and meaningful life and experience joy and peace. Psychotherapy can help you cultivate the life you want by helping you develop insight, learn new skills, clarify values and purpose, increase your ability to handle difficult thoughts and emotions, and enhance healing and personal growth.

I offer therapy that is active, strengths-based and collaborative. I take an integrative approach with a focus of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and EMDR Therapy.  My work is also influenced by Mindfulness practices, Buddhist Psychology and Expressive Arts Therapies. I work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief, including those bereaved by suicide. I am also interested in helping those who are struggling with issues related to aging, life transitions, relationships, spirituality and sexual identity.

Therapy sessions are generally 55 minutes long. I offer free phone consultations and I am happy to speak with you about your goals for therapy and answer any questions that you may have. I currently accept CareFirst insurance and I am also an out-of-network provider. For those without insurance I offer a sliding scale through the Open Path Psychotherapy Collective.  My office is located within the Strength and Vitality Wellness Center just outside of Mt. Washington.
